Just over a year ago,
a friend suggested that I come up with something creative to put out into the world that would be appreciated and give me more of a sense of purpose. I started with whimsical chairs, then children's furniture, but nothing stuck.
Heartfelt By Lucinda, Jewelry Made With Love has become the outlet I was looking for and this last summer, I found my gift for creating jewelry that people love.
I make jewelry by hand using hearts, crosses, turquoise, lampwork, vintage and glass beads and crystal. I also enjoy working with interesting paper prints on pendants with a glossy resin finish. Each necklace that I make has a personality of its own. While there may be more than one heart or cross, everything I make is a one of a kind creation.
As forHeartfelt By Lucinda, I believe my talent is God's gift and my using it is a gift to God.
I began my spiritual journey 25 years ago. Having personally survived growing up in an alcoholic home, abuse, neglect, my own alcoholism , anorexia, depression and breast cancer, I have been given miraculous reprieve by God a day at a time.
Today, I have only positive people in my life, a circle of whom I call my "God Squad". They love me and I love them. The healing from these relationships is beyond words.
And, God has gifted me with an amazing husband and a great daughter. This life I have now is such a gift and miracle from where I came from and what I have survived, words cannot express how blessed I am. And the journey continues. I hope you enjoy the jewelry!
